About Me
I’m someone who feels things deeply and creates as a way to make sense of them. I’ve always been drawn to beauty, connection, and the quiet satisfaction of making something with your hands — there’s something powerful about how much can be expressed without words.
My art is my refuge — a way of processing through the ebb and flow of life: the joy, the sorrow, and everything in between. It’s where I go when words fall short. Each piece is an emotional record, a kind of visual language that lets me speak in color, texture, and movement.
I work across materials — acrylics, alcohol ink, watercolor, textures and mixed media — letting them layer and build, like life does. There’s something sacred in the way they interact. Imperfect, unpredictable, and filled with depth.
Nature grounds me. The soft greens, deep blues, sandy golds, and blush tones I return to again and again — they feel like home. My garden, especially the sunlit roses, reminds me that strength and softness can exist together. That growth often comes through change.
My studio has become a sanctuary — a place of healing, reflection, and quiet transformation. For years, my sweet pups, Anya and Frankie, were curled up by my side as I painted. They were more than companions. They were part of the space. Losing them was heartbreaking, but their presence lingers in the calm I create through my work.
I’m deeply empathetic, often introverted, but I treasure the closeness of connection — with family, friends, and the people who’ve walked this creative path with me. I bring that same intention into my work: to offer peace, beauty, and something honest.
At the end of the day, my art is an extension of who I am. If it brings someone a sense of comfort, reflection, or joy — then it’s done what it came here to do.
