About Me

I’m someone who feels deeply and creates as a way to make sense of what I feel. I’ve always been drawn to beauty, connection, and the satisfaction of making something with your hands. There’s a kind of honesty in what art can express when words aren’t enough.

My art has become a refuge — a way of moving through life’s rhythms: the joy, the sorrow, and everything in between. Each piece is an emotional record, a visual language of color, texture, and movement that helps me process and release.

I work across materials — acrylics, alcohol ink, watercolor, textures and mixed media — letting the layers build like life does. There’s something sacred in the way they interact. Unpredictable,. Imperfect. Filled of depth.

Nature grounds me. I return often to the soft greens, deep blues, sandy golds, and warm blush tones — colors that feel like home. My garden, especially the sunlit roses, reminds me that strength and softness can exist together. That growth often comes through change.

My studio has become a sanctuary — a place of healing and quiet transformation. For years, my sweet dogs, Anya and Frankie, were always by my side as I painted. They were more than companions. They were part of the space. Losing them was deeply painful, but their spirit lingers in the calm I create through my work.

I’m an empathetic person, more introverted by nature, but I treasure true connection — with family, friends, and the people who’ve walked this creative path with me. I carry that same intention into my work: to offer something real. Something peaceful. Something beautiful.

In the end, my art is an extension of who I am. If it brings someone a sense of comfort, reflection, or a sense of joy, then it’s done it's work.
